It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Virginia (Ginny) Jacobs.
I have had the opportunity to observe her skills as displayed during the past 14 years in a variety of capacities. While I served as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, I benefited from Ginny's unique skills and ability to take complex data and translate it into graphical output that was compelling yet simple to understand. The best example that I can enunciate was when I was making a presentation to request additional resources. I gave Ginny a stack of data regarding the increasing cyber threats, the corresponding cost to the business, and how additional resources would help the organization mitigate those threats and costs. I told her (tongue in cheek) to turn it all into a single, readable slide.
I was shocked the next morning when Ginny handed me a slide that did all that! I looked and looked again for something missing but she had captured it all-something I honestly didn't think possible. I used that slide and it presented the data so well that the only comment was that I wasn't asking for enough. That's how compelling her work is.
Her creativity and attention to detail are second to none.
After I retired I asked Ginny if she had any thoughts about how to represent a trademark for a business we were starting. The next day we received her design which was so well done it only needed one piece of editing, the addition of a circle R when the design was registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
One last point. Ginny is a super kind and caring human being. It is an honor to write this letter for a person of such high caliber not only professionally but personally.
Sincerely,

Ginny has a keen and creative eye for displaying public health data in an engaging manner that brings clarity to the visual display. My team consulted with her frequently with the development of conference posters, presentations and publications. Her work is meticulous.

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Ginny Jacobs, Graphic Designer/ Owner Dragonfly Multimedia Design, LLC.
I found my experiences with Ginny to be fun rather than work. She is a brilliant graphic designer and her creativity goes well beyond any bounds I have ever seen.
I am immensely pleased with her level of talent, her diligent efforts and her willingness to work on any project. My clients have been impressed with her ability to meet tight deadlines and the high quality graphic designs she was able to produce for them for their new hire on-boarding and sales training workshops.

Ginny Jacobs and I worked in the Communications Division of the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) for approximately three years as co-workers.
Ginny was the graphic designer for the entire agency. Ginny’s work was amazing and so amazing that she won several awards for her work at DPH. During some of the three years there, Ginny was also a supervisor. And from my vantage point, she was an excellent supervisor.
Ginny was a committed and conscientious co-worker. Her attendance was outstanding, and she could be relied upon to provide graphic designs needed by management on a timely basis. Ginny was well-liked by her colleagues and worked well as an integral part of the Communications Division and the agency staff as a whole. She is and was so creative; Ginny would not only create concepts but also create the content for the projects. Ginny was asked to design extremely intricate research posters and infographics which she would do with such ease. She worked so well with management, physicians, and lay staff that most of departments she worked with wanted to continue the relationship after she voluntarily left her employment with DPH when she was selected for another position with another company.
More recently, I have worked with Ginny as a consultant. Her work for me and my clients continued to be as stellar as was her work with DPH. Ginny has met all of the deadlines presented and even delighted me many times by completing projects under the deadline.
Ginny would be an excellent employee and an excellent freelance graphics designer. She can be expected to perform her work with ease and excellence.
Feel free to call me directly at 404-219-8679 if I can answer any specific questions about her employment and work as a freelance graphic designer.
Sincerely,
